Oakley has become one of the most recognized names in the sunglass sector and has branched into many other lines as well. And Boothcrafters' history with this innovative company dates back to 1988. The design challenge for this booth was to carry over their heavy, industrial theme into an exhibit that could be shipped and erected easily. The “steel” bridge girders aren’t steel at all, but have the necessary strength – and the right look – to hold it all together. By moving the mass of the exhibit to the perimeter and upward, a surprising feeling of openness is created, and the space is very inviting. A raised rubber floor provides a great complement to the metal structure. The workstation desks continue the riveted metal theme, along with Oakley’s retail point-of-purchase displays.
